Library Annex

University Storage

In addition to providing off-site storage for library materials, the Library Annex offers limited, short-term storage, by the square foot, to schools, departments, and divisions within Vanderbilt University. Materials for storage must be able to co-exist with our Library materials. No chemicals, foods, or liquids are permitted. As the Library System increases off-site book storage, a decrease will occur in space available for University storage.

Our environmentally sound and secure primary facility provides leased space to 39 university tenants. Our detached building, in its entirety, is leased to 1 school. 7,1791 square feet of space are leased for the 1998/99 academic year.

Examples of candidates for short-term Annex storage are boxes of faculty papers, boxes of books, computer tapes and cartridges, filing cabinets, inventory records, and furniture. Delivery and retrieval of University storage is the responsibility of each leasee; and is accessible Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00.
