A few steps to follow in cataloging photoreproductions (or photocopies) include:
FIXED FIELDS:
Use these:
Form: r (“Form of Item” should be “r” for “Regular print reproduction. Item is a reproduction in regular eye-readable print (e.g., a photocopy).)
DtSt: s (“Type of Date/Publication Status” should be “s” for single date.)
Dates: Use the original date here, not the date of reproduction. (If you have a 1991 photocopy of a 1989 publication, use 1989 .)
VARIABLE FIELDS:
Using the above example for dates:
260 #c 1989.
300 iv, 116 leaves : #b ill. ; #c 28 cm.
If the item is a photoreproduction of a thesis (as they commonly are):
502 Thesis (D.M.A.)— University of Miami, 1989.
Use the 533 note (Reproduction Note) and give reproduction publication information and reproduction date here:
533 Photocopy. #b Ann Arbor , Mich. : #c University Microfilms International, #d 1991. #e 21 cm.
