Semi Monthly Checkin Patterns
(published on the 1st and 15th of each month)

With all semi monthlies, make sure your "position of future checkin" corresponds to the week number from the calendar. Fill in the future receipt date. After two checkin records are generated, change the position of future checkin number to correspond with the 1st or 15th of next checkin and change the future checkin name. Generate 2 more checkin records from the Serial Control Record and edit the position of future checkin and future checkin name again. Do not mess with the calendar x’s.

* Add dummy number to numeration pattern to make it work: use 1: Y label: NO. See pattern document for further information.

** Be very careful when inputting the "position of future checkin" on this pattern. Remember to count the issue numbers on the weeks containing the 1st or 15th of each month, but input "position of future checkin" as the week # on the 1996 Sirsi Calendar Guide. In this example, no.10 falls in the week of #20.

*** Create name pattern using the 1st date of the range and update the 863 to include the range.
