Committee on Instruction and Faculty Development

Purpose of the Committee:
  1. To recommend the design and development of a program for faculty, students, and staff that will facilitate their awareness and use of information and instructional technology in teaching and learning.
  2. To develop specific workshops and training sessions directed toward individual user populations.
  3. To develop specific training and instructional materials that support the exploration and use of instructional technology.
  4. To identify, both within and without the library, resource persons and instructors who will teach in the program.
  5. To advise on matters relating to instruction of user groups.
  6. To develop an inventory to identify and facilitate access to instructional resources outside the library in support of faculty teaching.
