1998 Workstation Replacement Project

The library plans to replace all remaining 486 computers with Pentium-based computers. Currently, Forty-six 486-based computers remain in use by library staff. We previously replaced all 386 and lower computers. The Training Room on the sixth level of the General Library Building will be expanded to accommodate 4 additional computers. The following table shows how many computers are scheduled for replacement within the scope of this project.
