Upgrades to Music Library Public Stations

This project involves the migration of the public-access workstations in the Music Library to a new operating environment. The previous environment included Windows 3.x, an interface using icons in the Windows Program Manager, and a CD-ROM server based on LanCD/FastCD. The new environment will use Windows NT as the operating environment, will continue to use Program Manager, and will use a Novell IntranetWare 4.11 server for CD-ROM applications. The CD-ROM discs for the Music will reside on magnetic drives of the LIBRARY2A IntranetWare server. The CD-ROM Products used by Music Library include Music Index and NISC MUse SEarch.
