Reporting Problems after Regular Business Hours


The Library Technology Team has regular business hours of 7:30am - 5:00pm on Monday through Friday. During these hours, please report any problems through the regular procedures. For problems that occur after normal business hours, the following guidelines may be helpful.

If a problem occurs that does not require immediate attention, please report the problem to NetFix.

For major problems with Acorn, call the ACIS Network Operations Center at 2-2954.

If there is a problem with the campus network or with the campus's connection to the Internet, you can call the Status Line at 2-3595, maintained by the Network Operations Center of ACIS, to verify that the problem is known and to learn when it is expected to be resolved. In the event of any major problem the message on this line will be updated immediately. ACIS prefers that we call this number first so that the staff on duty will not be overwhelmed with calls when there is a failure. If you are having a problem and there is no helpful information on the Status Line, call the Network Operations Center at 2-2954 to report the problem.

For less serious problems that occur after hours, please report them to NetFix and they will be dealt with according to our usual priorities.
