    Unicorn Enhancement Process

  • Web Forums
SIRSI is abandoning the traditional enhancement ballot process in favor of interactive Web forums where Sirsi customers can discuss among themselves improvements that they would like to see implemented in Unicorn.

Individual accounts and passwords will be needed by the staff that access these SIRSI Enhancements Forums. Our current thinking is that all participants in the Acorn workgroups will be authorized to read and post messages to their respective forums. LTT will monitor all the forums.

The SIRSI Users Group International has officially endorsed this new enhancement process.

  • Update to WebSPIRS 4.1

  • New ILL Feature
  • Link to Holdings
  • SilverLinker - Link to full-text
  • We will be implementing a new minor release of the ERL server (Version 4.11). This new version will include support for ScienceDirect within SilverLinker which was not possible without this upgrade. We expect to implement this new relase March 9th so that it will be fully tested by the time students return from Spring Break.
