ARTS LIBRARY

1. 30-39 cm. ARTS,OV (circulate only to faculty)

2. 40+ cm. ARTS,FOL

3. Hold sets together with default to oversize

4. Bibliographer’s review-reference, "expensive", and/or "unusual" books, smaller than 30 cm, can be shelved in regular art section with non-circ status.

CENTRAL LIBRARY

40+ cm. CEN,FOL

DOCUMENTS

No oversize criteria (For very large items, prefer to deal with case by case)

PEABODY LIBRARY

1. Stacks: 30 cm.+ (height) or 22 1/2 cm.+ (depth)

4. Youth: 35 cm.+ (height) x 40 cm.+ (depth)

ANNEX

1. Nothing being sent to the Annex is to be assigned an oversize item type, except ARTS-OVER. All other material being sent to the Annex, of any size, should have the same item type as "normal" sized material.

There continue to be some items reflected as oversize at the Annex, but this is a "historic" collection only and nothing new is to be added.

Note regarding measurement:

Technically, anything from 29.5 cm and up (where 30 cm is oversize) is considered oversize, since these measurements are rounded upwards.
