Title of Procedure

OS ntc to bib/order recd:
Bibliographers are given the option of being notified when the item is "received" by checking the box on the online request form "Please check here if you wish to be notified when item is received". OS staff will then enter the bibliographer's WorkFlows userid (also provided on the request) into the Req User ID field of the order record.

The OS ntc to bib/order recd report runs daily, and selects VUPROCESS orders that have a Date Received of the previous day, and have a userid in the Req User ID field. This report automatically generates an electronic notice to the bibliographer.

OS ntctobib canc:

This report runs weekly on Fridays, and selects VUPROCESS orders that have been cancelled in the previous week (based on Date Cancelled in the cancel segment), and have a userid in the Req User ID field. This report automatically generates an electronic notice to the bibliographer.

Note: if an order is cancelled but reordered elsewhere, the order should be checked for a userid in the Req User ID field. When present, it should be removed from the cancelled order (to avoid generating a notice) and replaced in the new order.
