Divinity Funding in Orders

Effective November of 2001, Divinity will include both funding and separate Item Cat 1 information for all orders submitted to Order Services. (This allows Divinity to track specific subject areas without creating and maintaining additional bookfund records.)

For example, "68029001 (6805)".

This information will be entered into the Line Item Info / Fund field in the order record. Orders will be encumbered on the bookfund provided.

(As Divinity creates orders in GOBI, they will include this information in the Notes field so that it will be transmitted to the order record.)

The following are currently the available Item Cat 1's for Divinity:

68 - DIVINTY
6801 - CHRCH
6802 - THEOL
6803 - METHD
6804 - AMCHR
6805 - HEBRW
6806 - JUDCA
6807 - HOMLT
6808 - ETHIC
6809 - RLPRS
6810 - NT
6811 - HACTR

Upon receipt, as OS staff create and/or update the Item record, they will enter the appropriate Item Cat 1 into the field.
