GENERATING MICROFICHE LABELS USING STANDARD AVERY 5660 ADDRESS STOCK
1. Open Microsoft Word
2. Select Font--- Arial, 12pt.
3. Type in fiche label aligned to the left upper corner of the Word document
EXAMPLE OF TYPICAL FICHE LABEL:

NOTE: Always add VANDERBILT UNIV. LIB. as last line of label
4. Pull down Tools menu
5. Click on Envelopes and Labels
6. Fiche label should appear automatically in window
7. Check for label accuracy and printer settings (see Tips below for first time
setup)
8. Load label stock
9. Click on print button
10. Hit CTRL-Y key combination for each additional page of labels needed
--Calculate based upon 30 labels per page
11. Enclose stack of labels with fiche shipment and forward to owning library
TIPS:
First time set up:
1. After Step 6 above
a. Click on Labels tab in window
b. To set label to Avery Standard 5660: Click on Options, highlight 5660-Address,
click OK
2. Check preferred PRINT option
(Usually, it's the FULL page option)
3. Check printer tray settings-depends upon printer and where you load the label stock
4. Save frequently used labels: Click on New Document in Labels window and save. Can update documents if dates change.
