Central Books Selected for Repair/Boxing
and Subsequent
Transfer to Annex
Central bibliographers review circulated books in need of
repair and/or boxing to make collection management decisions. Sometimes the
decision includes transfer to the Annex, including additional volumes of book
sets. Several Acorn and physical processing steps are required to prepare the
items for transfer. The processing steps are shared between Central Circulation
staff and RS Preservation staff.
