RUSHREPAIR/Recalls for Items in Repair Lab

1. If barcode or title is available, start the search from the repair database.

2. If only a call number is available, search in WorkFlows to find out the barcode number of the item(s).

3. Once barcode or title is located, then search the repair database.

4. In the repair database click on Edit Records Via Barcode button or Edit Records Via Title button as appropriate.

5. Type in barcode or title.

6. Bring up the record for the item.

7. Note the date the item was received and what treatment decision was made.

8. Check the shelves according to the date received and treatment of the item(s).

9. If there is time, repair the item.

10. If a RUSH patron request, follow appropriate procedures to notify patron, notify the library circulating desk, and to find a volunteer walker (if hand delivery is required).
