Staff Development Coordinating Committee

The main topics of discussion during March were the awards program and technology training. The committee also continued to update the glossary.

Other issues were the "Alphabet Soup" program given by the Opportunity Development Center on affirmative action and discrimination issues; an interactive workshop, "Am I a Crook?," on copyright issues; and the resurrection and revitalizing of tours of the libraries.

Paul Gherman attended the March 12 meeting to discuss the awards program. He indicated the concept is good and made several suggestions for changes in the proposal.

Mary Beth, Suellen and Gail attended complimentary commercial technology training classes to evaluate the programs of the companies.
