Staff Development Coordinating Committee

Projects for June were the Library Glossary, the staff awards program and technology training. We will select a title page and graphics for the glossary once it is complete. The committee decided to have both a Web and hard copy of the awards program survey and to have the full proposal on the Web.

The committee reviewed the idea of basic, intermediate, and advanced technology training and determined that in the documentation we should include basic and advanced with the understanding that all three levels are needed. The committee’s hope is to provide basic and intermediate training in house and use outside vendors for advanced training. Work will continue on the core curriculum.
