Staff Development Coordinating Committee January 1999 Minutes Summary Major projects during January were the planning for implementation of the Awards Program, improvements in technology training, completion of an online Program Evaluation Form and the creation of a revised Supervisor's checklist.

The format for Acorn Notes was determined. We also planned for publicity to advertise the implementation of the programs.

We initiated two new classes for technology training "Network Literacy" and "Electronic Publishing in the Libraries' Web Environment. The Access classes were also reorganized.

Created and made available an online version of the Staff Development committee's Program Evaluation Form A Supervisor's Checklist to be used as a helpsheet for supervisors to help get new employees started in the system. Other projects discussed were the Soaring to Excellence program and the UT/UTK/VU Information Alliance
