November 1999 Meetings Summary

The Staff Development Coordinating Committee met twice in November. Meetings were held on November 2 and November 23.

John Haar presented "PEAK Project" on Tuesday, November 9.
On Friday, November 19, the Information Alliance held a successful annual meeting with representatives from UT, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt here on campus. Mary Beth Blalock chaired the event.
A recent discussion of the procedure for awarding merit pay increases aroused interest in collecting staff opinion of the process. It was decided to conduct a survey of the merit award process. Lisa proposed seven questions for our discussion. All members received the revised survey questionnaire for further comments. They will be reviewed once more at the December 14 meeting before being are posted on the Web for all staff to complete.
